Leader Offers Condolences on Death of Senior Cleric
TEHRAN (IQNA) – Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei expressed his condolences on the death of senior cleric Hojat-ol-Islam Kamal Faqih Imani.
In a message on Saturday, the Leader offered condolences to the family of Hojat-ol-Islam Faqih Imani, scholars and clerics, and the people of Isfahan.
The Leader described the cleric as a true example of one making cultural Jihad and praised his services in promoting the Islamic teachings at the international level.
Hojat-ol-Islam Faqih Imani passed away at the age of 87 on Friday.
He had been hospitalized earlier after testing positive for the coronavirus.
After the victory of the Islamic Revolution, the cleric compiled a Quran exegesis in English and Russian under the title of Nur al-Quran Fi Tafseer al-Quran”.
